Care for Braided Money Tree
The braided money tree is said to be the "Bringer of Good Fortuneā especially when received as a gift. The five leaves on each branch and the five intertwining stalks relate to the five elements of Feng Shui: metal, fire, earth, water and wood. Send your wishes of prosperity and good luck along with this plant.

WATERING
Allow the soil to dry out between waterings. Water about every other week or when the soil feels nearly dry with about 1/2 to 1 cup filtered water. Pour around the base of the plant slowly. Do not over-water or allow the soil to stay wet or soggy as there is no drain hole in the pot.
FEEDING
Fertilizer is mixed into the soil so feeding is not necessary for a year; after that use a balanced fertilizer at half strength once a month.
LIGHT
This hardy plant grows best indirect sunlight, but will also thrive in low light conditions.
REPOTTING
This palm is extremely slow growing and will not require repotting for several years. Trim off any dry leaves.
